DeskOwls is run by me, Rob Stone, out of Belen, New Mexico. It's a small outfit on purpose. When you call, you get me.

I've spent twenty years in online marketing, most of it helping small businesses get found and get the phone to ring. I've also served in the US Army as a cavalry scout and spent a stretch gold prospecting in Alaska. I know what it's like to be out on the job, nowhere near a phone.

That's the problem DeskOwls fixes. A plumber up to his elbows in a crawl space can't pick up. An HVAC tech on a roof in July can't pick up. The office line's engaged, or it's seven at night, and the caller rings the next number on the list. The job goes to whoever answered, and nobody ever finds out it was yours to lose.

What we actually do

We set up an AI receptionist for your business. It answers every call on the first ring, day or night, finds out what the caller needs, books the appointment into your calendar, and texts you the details. If a call does slip through, it sends the caller a text straight away so they don't move on to the next company.

We set it up for you, in your business's name, with your services and your prices. You don't need new phones or a new number.

How we work

• No long contracts. Month to month. If it isn't booking you work, you stop.
